Suzuki Strings of Dallas offers Suzuki-inspired instruction in violin and viola. The goal is to provide rich and enjoyable music experiences that will contribute to the development of self-confident, happy children.
WIth BM and MME degrees, Irene Mitchell studied twice with Dr. Suzuki at the Talent Education Institute in Matsumoto, Japan. She founded Suzuki Strings of Dallas in 1981 and has served as clinician for over one hundred Suzuki programs throughout the Americas and Europe.

The mission of Greater Dallas Youth Orchestras, Inc. (GDYO), is to provide music education and performance opportunities for musically talented youth. This internationally acclaimed ensemble serves more than 400 talented young musicians.
